About Me

As a therapist, I believe that people are not defined by their problems, but by their potential to create meaningful change. My approach is rooted in Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), a model that empowers clients to identify strengths, build on what is already working, and move toward practical solutions. Rather than dwelling on past struggles, I help individuals and families focus on the future they want to create and the small steps that will get them there.

I recognize that each person who walks into my practice already possesses skills, experiences, and resilience that can serve as building blocks for progress. I do not believe in a “one size fits all” approach to therapy. I utilize an eclectic approach of modalities in order to support you and your unique needs. This includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Positive Psychology. My specialties include working with teens, college students, adults, and LGBTQIA+ individuals.

My number one goal is that you feel you have all of the tools and support needed in order to live the life you envision for yourself, and maybe even a life that is bigger and more fulfilling than you can currently imagine for yourself!

My Therapeutic Approach

I often use multiple therapies in my practice. In your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and then decide the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. We'll look at how your thoughts affect your emotions and experience. During treatment, I'll help you learn how to push back against those thoughts to change your feelings for the better.

Client Experience

Clients I work with are often experiencing a significant loss, anxiety, depression, or trauma. We utilize a multimodal approach combined with talk therapy. Beginning sessions focus on building rapport so that we can delve deeper into your emotions. We work together to create goals for therapy and a safe and healing space.
